Fallout 76 Make Friends With Deathclaw I Killed and Now I Cant Do Again

Quest Journal Entry / Summary

In "Flavors of Mayhem," Rose asks you to conduct a series of experiments.

After completing "Signal Strength," you will be granted the quest "Flavors of Mayhem."

Objectives:

• Add a Karma Syringe barrel mod to Rose's Syringer.
• Shoot a Yao Guai with a Karma Syringe.
• Kill your target while it is affected by karma.
• Craft explosive bait at any Tinker's Workbench.
  • [Optional] Find materials to craft explosive bait.
• Use explosive bait on a creature.
• Approach a Deathclaw and "make friends."
• Kill or Escape the Deathclaw.
• Steal from a Super Mutant camp.
• Kill a Feral Ghoul.
  • [Optional] Equip the cannibal perk and cannibalize a Feral Ghoul.
• Speak with Rose.

Add a Karma Syringe barrel mod to Rose's Syringer

• Head to the 2nd floor of "Top of the World"and use the marked Weapons Workbench. With the item Rose has provided you switch to the "Modify" menu and select Rose's Syringer" to modify it with the Karma Syringe barrel.

Shoot a Yao Guai with a Karma Syringe

• Time to go hunting! Head north of "Top of the World" and shoot a Yao Guai with your newly modified Rose's Syringer.

  

Kill your target while it is affected by Karma

• Survive its 60 second rampage and then kill it when the effects wear off.

Craft explosive bait at any Tinker's Workbench

• Locate a Tinker's Workbench and craft Explosive Bait. The objective marker will lead you to both a Tinker's Bench and a container holding all the components required.
• To create Explosive Bait, you need two Adhesive, one Copper, one Fragmentation Mine and one Radstag Meat.
• Explosive Bait is found under the "Mines" crafting category.

  

Use explosive bait on a creature

• Head back outside and use the explosive bait on a Radstag.

Approach a Deathclaw and "make friends."

• Rose tasks you with to "make friends" with a Deathclaw.
• Approach the Deathclaw and hit "Activate" to complete the objective.
  

Kill or Escape the Deathclaw

• Now you can either kill it or run......good luck!

Steal from a Super Mutant camp

• You are tasked with stealing an item from a Super Mutant Camp.
• Be stealthy and follow the objective marker leading to a container holding the item you need to steal to complete this objective.

Kill a Feral Ghoul

• Your next task will be on the south side of the "Savage Divide."
• When you reach the objective point, take out a Feral Ghoul or 2 or 10.
  • Optionally, you may choose to "cannibalize" the dead Ghoul if you have the Cannibalize perk.

Speak with Rose

• When you are finished head back to "Top of the World" to talk to Rose.
